Stefan is a good friend and client of mine, who is one of Romania’s most successful brand builders and entrepreneurs.
Stefan Mandachi built Spartan from a single location into the largest local Romanian QSR brand in the country.

Think about how much you have already invested:
You chose a strong brand. Customers keep coming back.
You work hard, train your staff, and follow the system.
And still, you see other franchisees in other brands with products not nearly as good as yours, doing better than you.
You worry every month if there will be enough money to pay salaries, rent and suppliers.
You carry the stress alone and often don’t sleep well at night.
That is the feeling I want you to have after this workshop - so you can finally SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT.

In my 40s, I had the privilege to be on Subway’s international development team. During my 9 years with the company, I served as Area Development Manager for Sweden, Finland, Israel and South Africa.
From the founder of Subway himself, Mr. Fred DeLuca (RIP), I learned that global brands are built, not born. That the key to building a strong franchise brand is the financial and business education you give your franchisees.
At Subway, we did not only teach franchisees how to make great subs and salads, but more importantly, we taught them how to manage their numbers and finances.
During my time with Subway (first as a franchisee and later as a country developer), I saw the brand grow from 8,000 to 32,000 stores in more than 90 countries. Subway later became the largest QSR franchised chain in the world, reaching over 44,000 locations in more than 110 countries.
I’m the founder and CEO of Franed.com . I help franchisors and franchisees build stronger, more profitable franchise families through simple, practical financial education.
For more than 40 years, I’ve worked in almost every role in franchising. I’ve been a franchisee, master franchisee and country developer for brands like Subway and Pizza Hut, as well as CEO and mentor to restaurant and retail chains across Europe.
Again and again I see the same pattern repeating itself:
Franchisees who leave the “numbers” to accountants who have never worked a day behind the counter usually struggle. Franchisees who learn simple financial skills and use them every week usually thrive.

That’s why I created Franed.com – to help people like you turn confusing financial reports into clear, useful tools you can trust.
Today, I help franchise organisations improve their profit, understand their EBITA, and build businesses where they genuinely win – so they can breathe more easily and better enjoy working in the brand they chose.
My mission is to give you practical financial know-how that makes your business stronger, more profitable and less stressful.

We’re here to answer your key questions so you can feel confident joining us.

Nicos Mesolongitis - Founder OJO Sunglasses
I have known Steven Wolfson since 2010. During these past 15 years, Steven has been my personal franchise mentor, having assisted me in navigating many challenges along the way. Steven’s guidance has no doubt contributed greatly towards OJO Sunglasses becoming the largest and most relevant Sunglasses brand in Cyprus, with many more stores now open in other countries in Europe as well. It is no wonder that Steven Wolfson is regarded as one of the world’s leading franchise mentors, and I highly recommend his services and knowledge.

Dina Grigoreva Kanis - Founder ReBloom Face Massage Studio
Thank you once again for the opportunity to take part in your course, it has already provided me with valuable insights and inspiration and already helping me to look at franchising from a more strategic perspective.
I’m especially grateful for your generous offer to have a Zoom call afterwards. It means a lot to have the chance to discuss my ideas and plans with someone who has such a wealth of experience.

The purpose of my free workshop is not to undermine your franchisor or create friction between you and your franchisor. You are first and foremost bound by the terms and conditions of your franchise agreement, which I strongly urge you to uphold and respect. In many franchise organizations, you are required to...
you are required to use their financial controls and systems; in such cases, I have no intention of challenging or undermining your franchisor or your franchise agreement in any way. If your franchisor provides you with financial guidance that you believe is sound and your business results are satisfactory, then this workshop is probably not intended for you
There are, however, many franchisors who do not invest in financial and business training, leaving you – the franchisee – free to choose your own accountant and manage your finances in your own way, which is also perfectly acceptable in many successful franchise organizations. These franchisors have built their franchise on the merits of their retail concept, store layout and design, logo, product range, and menu, and sold you your franchise based on a concept they have proved to be successful. It is on these terms that you made your decision to buy into their franchise, and that is entirely acceptable.
You should attend my free seminar only if your franchise agreement allows you sufficient flexibility to control your own finances in a way that you believe is appropriate for you. The seminar focuses purely on my recommended financial control methodology, which is widely used in many successful franchise organizations, is generic in nature, and does not contradict the reporting requirements of your tax authorities or your franchise organization.
Lastly, please note that I am not an accountant and do not intend to replace your accountant. Every business needs an accountant to ensure that it complies with its legal obligations to the relevant taxation and legal authorities. What I teach is designed to allow your accountant to do what they must so that you remain compliant with the law of your country, while you take full control of your daily operations and the practical steps required to run a profitable business. This is done without relying solely on the advice of your accountant who, while knowledgeable about legal and tax compliance, may have limited practical experience in improving your EBITA in a retail or franchise environment.
In addition to the above, please refer to the official disclaimer of my company here.
